Buy your Fibre Optic Connectors
An optical fibre connector is terminated onto optical fibre allowing the mechanical coupling of lengths fibre. The high tolerances in the connectors allow for precise alignment of the fibre cores resulting in better light transmission.
Most fibre optic connectors have a spring loaded ferrule. When the connector is installed into an adapter or piece of equipment the spring pressure ensures a good physical contact of the fibre cores.
alker can supply both single and multipiece unterminated connectors as well as a compatible ferrule.
