Unique design for in-field operations

Weighing in at just 5.7kg, the wearable version of our fibre optic deployable cable reel system has been designed to adjust to different sizes, adaptable for male and female personnel.

Lightweight at just 23kg

Coming in at around 23kg with 500m of 4 count Alker Micro Armoured stainless steel fibre optic cable, it has been cleverly designed to sit closely to the body improving and lowering the centre of gravity to distribute weight once loaded.

Easily removed with a quick release harness it can be positioned on the ground or conveniently attached in seconds to an asset (truck) for deployment.

In-field repair kit included

The hub-less reel design can house the Alker fibre optic in-field repair kit, or a number of helpful services including:

  • Water containers
  • First aid
  • Bespoke items

Crafted from laser-cut aluminium then powder coated to any specific RAL colour, it is both lightweight and durable with a door at each end of the reel for easier access.
